Contact the Editorial Team

Last updated 15 July 2026.

We welcome contact from readers, consumer advocacy organisations, regulators, researchers and press. This page lists the correct channels for each type of enquiry and our commitments on response time.

Editorial correspondence. All editorial correspondence, including tips, reader feedback, correction requests, operator submissions and story ideas, should be sent to [email protected]. Adair Wentmore, our editor, personally reads every email sent to that address.

Response times. We commit to a first response within five business days for general correspondence, within two business days for time sensitive editorial enquiries, and within one business day for confirmed factual corrections to published entries.

Complaints procedure. Complaints about our coverage should be raised first with the editorial team via [email protected]. Please include the specific entry URL, the passage in question, and the correction sought. We commit to a written response within fourteen days. Where a complaint is upheld we publish a dated correction in place and, where appropriate, a follow up note.

Operator right of reply. Operators mentioned on the register receive a right of reply on any material register update. Operators who dispute a factual finding may request review by the independent editorial board. Responses are published verbatim or in fair summary alongside the finding.

Postal address. Accountability Register Australia Incorporated, Level 6, 66 Goulburn Street, Sydney NSW 2000, Australia. Postal correspondence is opened on business days.

Press enquiries. Journalists working on stories that touch our coverage areas are welcome to contact the editor directly. We are happy to speak on the record for attribution or on background for context, and we make our methodology documentation available on request.

Regulatory correspondence. ACMA, AUSTRAC, ASIC and OAIC correspondence should be sent to the registered office by post as well as to the editorial email for prompt attention.
